Dealing With Early Pregnancy Backache


Usually women suffer from some degree of backache in early  pregnancy . However, this pain generally subsides after the 20th week of  pregnancy . Most women suffer from early  pregnancy  backache because of softening of supporting ligaments and disks due to an increase in progesterone hormone. Some women might develop urinary infection while they are pregnant, and this can also result in backaches. Invariably backache occurs in pregnant women because the center of gravity changes.

The best way to deal with early  pregnancy  backache is by doing exercise. If you start exercising early in your  pregnancy  you will relieve the symptoms of backache. In addition, you will also end up toning your body and preparing for labor and delivery.

However, in late  pregnancy  most women suffer from backache because the uterus becomes big with the baby and women tend to pull back their shoulders to cope with the additional weight. This can lead to back strain resulting in backache.

Make sure you get enough rest and sleep. You should also avoid strenuous activities as this tends to aggravate early  pregnancy  backache. Another way of dealing with early  pregnancy  backache is to do yoga. You will be able to alleviate your backache by doing appropriate yoga exercises. You should also look for special massages for pregnant women to help you deal with early  pregnancy  backache. However, if your backache persists and you are finding it difficult to go about your regular activities, you should consult your doctor who may prescribe physiotherapy or pain medication.
